Description

Join a dynamic team in a critical operations leadership role. The Production Manager is instrumental in managing production processes, ensuring quality, optimizing costs, and driving improvements. You'll collaborate with teams across functions and oversee compliance with industry standards.

  • Manage all production operations, including staffing, performance management, and training.
  • Develop and execute production and staffing schedules to meet customer demands and budget goals.
  • Lead daily GEMBA meetings to track progress toward KPIs, foster improvement ideas, and communicate objectives.
  • Implement and sustain ISO standards and good documentation practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
  • Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Manage IT systems for production and compliance purposes, including ERP and data management tools.
  • Optimize human and equipment operations to improve production uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Polymer/Plastics Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a plastics manufacturing environment, including extrusion, injection, or compounding.
  • At least 3 years of people management experience in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of recognized quality systems like ISO9001 or IATF16949.
  • Demonstrated success in Lean, Six Sigma, or corporate safety initiatives.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills at all organizational levels.
