• Manage, train, and evaluate a team of five direct reports, promoting growth and accountability
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and material availability to fulfill customer needs
• Investigate production challenges, develop corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate on CAPAs, investigations, and validations with cross-functional teams
• Enforce GMP guidelines, maintain equipment calibration, and submit deviations or OOS reports
• Direct interdepartmental projects to completion in a cost-effective manner
• Serve as a hands-on leader, contributing to production tasks and mentoring staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field
• 5+ years of management experience (3+ years considered for exceptional candidates)
• 5+ years of professional laboratory experience in regulated or manufacturing settings
• Familiarity with FDA environments, GMP, and GLP principles
• Proven leadership skills with strong communication and troubleshooting abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, lab instrumentation, and documentation standards
