A precision manufacturing team is looking for a motivated Assembly Operator for the first shift. This role involves assembling mechanical components using both hand and power tools, following detailed specifications and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools. Follow blueprints and product specifications during builds. Perform functional testing and calibration of finished units. Identify and repair any failed units or discrepancies. Use chemicals and materials as needed during assembly. Maintain safety and 6S standards across work areas. Complete assigned production tasks as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
- Capable of repetitive lifting and standing throughout shift
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Mechanical inclination and problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to be trained and meet daily performance metrics
