Description

If you're experienced in tool and die work and want to play a critical role in precision manufacturing, this position offers hands-on responsibility and technical challenge. From interpreting blueprints to ensuring final parts meet tolerance standards, this role will rely on your craftsmanship and troubleshooting ability to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Analyze blueprints and machine materials for tool fabrication and repair
  • Set up and operate presses to test new or repaired dies
  • Use precision instruments to verify dimensions and clearances
  • Modify or rework tooling as needed for part quality
  • Operate machinery safely and adhere to 6S practices
  • Collaborate with other trades and departments as required
  • Document and communicate work details per project

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tool and die making
  • Strong background in die maintenance and repair
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of ProtoTRAK programming is a plus
  • Experience troubleshooting progressive stamping dies
  • Strong organizational and mechanical aptitude
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
