Description

In this role, the Outpatient Therapist will deliver trauma-informed clinical services to clients across all age groups. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, facilitate group therapy sessions, and maintain a caseload that requires consistent engagement and documentation. This position is essential in expanding access to mental health services in the community, and flexibility in scheduling is vital to meet client needs.

  • Provide compassionate, ethical outpatient therapy, including individual, family, and group sessions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to establish diagnoses and levels of care for clients.
  • Develop treatment and transition plans that address ongoing mental health and addiction needs.
  • Maintain a high caseload of 60-80 clients while ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external programs to coordinate client care effectively.
  • Complete clinical documentation and assessments within required timeframes using the agency's EMR system.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Current state licensure (LCAC, LMFT, LCSW) or eligible for temporary license within 45 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health and addiction treatment practices.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
  • Experience in community behavioral health settings is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing time and priorities effectively.
